The Key Decisions That Shape College Outcomes

A candid, small-group conversation built specifically for Mountain House families. Space is limited to keep this an actual conversation, not a webinar. Registration required.

If your family is starting to think about college β€” whether your student is a freshman or a junior β€” this hour is built for you.

One of the hardest parts of a competitive high school environment is knowing what "strong" actually means in context. How do colleges actually view students coming out of Mountain House? What can you really learn from the school's matriculation results β€” and what do they miss? And beyond the school's reputation, how should you be thinking about your own student's individual positioning?

Meet Your Host

For more than 20 years, she has helped students navigate college admissions and build applications that actually reflect who they are not a generic version of "impressive." Her students have been admitted to Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Yale, Princeton, UCLA, Berkeley, and other top institutions.

Why You Should Come

What We'll Actually Cover

This isn't a generic admissions overview. It's built around the specific questions Mountain House families are already asking:

βœ“ How colleges actually evaluate applicants coming from Mountain House

βœ“ How to read β€” and how not to over-read β€” the school's college matriculation data

βœ“ What actually distinguishes a student when rigorous courses and strong activities are common, not rare

βœ“ The key decisions and blind spots we've seen most often while advising Mountain House families

Bring your questions. This is meant to be a real, candid conversation about positioning, choices, and long-term strategy, not a lecture.

Who Should Attend

Current and prospective Mountain House families who want thoughtful, individualized college planning for freshmen just starting to think ahead, or juniors and seniors deep in the process.
